Why use an Isolator
To electrically isolate USB devices or HDMI displays located near patients or operators from the medical PC system, helping prevent harmful leakage currents — without requiring full isolation of the entire system.
USB 3.x Isolator
The USB 3.x Isolator (PN: APISLCU31) provides 2MOPP isolation and supports USB 3.0 and USB 3.2 Gen2 signals. It is widely used to isolate USB 3.x cameras from medical PCs. It is also suitable for isolating USB 3.x X-ray cameras and other high-speed USB 3 signal paths.
HDMI 2.0 Isolator
The HDMI 2.0 isolator (PN: APIS4CU) features 1MOPP isolation and supports HDMI 1.0 through HDMI 2.0 TMDS signals. It can also serve as a general-purpose isolator for other video signals such as DisplayPort.
